The DMfit 3/8" Stem Elbow is a compact 90-degree push-fit fitting featuring one 3/8" push-fit socket and one 3/8" stem. The stem can be inserted directly into another compatible 3/8" push-fit fitting, allowing pipework to change direction without requiring an additional length of connecting pipe.

Ideal for professional draught beer, beverage, gas and air systems, the stem elbow is particularly useful where installation space is limited and a compact 90-degree connection is required.

DMfit 3/8" Push-Fit Stem Elbow

Unlike a standard equal elbow, which has a push-fit socket at both ends, the DMfit Stem Elbow combines a 3/8" push-fit connection with a 3/8" stem.

The stem pushes directly into a compatible 3/8" push-fit socket, while 3/8" OD pipe connects to the other side of the elbow.

This makes it useful for creating compact connections directly from tees, Y-pieces, valves, adaptors and other compatible push-fit fittings.

Stem Elbow vs Equal Elbow

The two fittings perform a similar job but connect differently.

A 3/8" Equal Elbow has two 3/8" push-fit sockets and is used to connect two separate lengths of pipe at 90 degrees.

A 3/8" Stem Elbow has one push-fit socket and one 3/8" stem. The stem can be pushed directly into another compatible push-fit fitting, creating a more compact connection without a short section of pipe between the fittings.

Installation

Insert the 3/8" stem fully into a compatible 3/8" push-fit connection. Cleanly cut 3/8" OD pipe can then be pushed fully into the socket side of the elbow.

Always check that the fitting, pipe material, pressure and application are compatible before installation.
