What is an A Type Keg Coupler?

An A Type Keg Coupler connects the draught dispense system to an A Type valve fitted to the keg.

Unlike many Sankey-style couplers that twist onto the keg valve, an A Type Coupler uses a slide-on connection. Once correctly positioned and engaged, dispense gas enters the keg while the drink passes through the product outlet and into the dispense line.
