This Beer Flow Controller / Restrictor provides adjustable control over the speed of beer and other compatible draught products through the dispense line.

Featuring a 3/8" push-fit inlet and 3/16" push-fit outlet, the controller is designed for installation in the product line, commonly beneath a beer font or close to the dispense point.

Turn the adjustment collar to increase or decrease the restriction, allowing the dispense flow rate to be fine-tuned without changing the beer line.

Adjustable Beer Flow Restrictor

Correct flow rate is an important part of a properly balanced draught beer system.

This adjustable beer flow controller adds variable resistance to the product line, allowing the pouring speed to be adjusted at the dispense point.

It can be particularly useful where additional control is required alongside the resistance already provided by the beer line.

Beer Flow & 3/16" Reducer Line

3/16" beer line creates significantly more resistance than larger diameter product pipe and is commonly used near the dispense point to help control flow.

The amount of 3/16" reducer line required will depend on the individual installation, including gas pressure, product temperature, carbonation and required dispense speed.

The adjustable flow controller provides an additional method of fine-tuning this resistance.

Important – Beer Flow & Foaming

A flow controller can help fine-tune dispense speed by adding resistance, but it will not correct every cause of excessive foam or poor dispense.

Beer temperature, gas pressure, carbonation, line diameter, line length and cooling all affect dispense performance.

The complete draught system should therefore be correctly balanced rather than relying solely on the flow controller.
