Plastic Cask Tails for Cask Ale Dispense Systems

These Plastic Cask Tails connect compatible beer pipe to cask taps, ale extractors and other cask ale fittings. Manufactured from hard-wearing acetal plastic, they are available with different thread and tail sizes to suit a range of dispense systems.

Choose the correct thread and pipe connection size for your equipment before ordering.

Available Thread and Tail Sizes

3/4" BSP thread:

• 3/8" tail
• 1/2" tail
• 5/8" tail

Standard L or Y thread:

• 3/8" tail
• 1/2" tail
• 5/8" tail

Thread types and tail sizes are not interchangeable. Check your existing cask fitting and beer pipe dimensions carefully.

Cask Ale Pipe Connections

The ribbed hose tail provides a connection point for compatible flexible beer pipe. A suitable pipe clip or securing method may be required, depending on the installation.

A correctly sized cask washer or sealing hop filter is also required between the tail and compatible cask connection. The tail alone does not create the complete seal.
