This Bag in Box Cooling Probe is designed to help keep drinks chilled inside 10L and 20L bag-in-box containers during service. Ideal for beer festivals, cider festivals, events and temporary bars where bag-in-box products need to be kept cool.

The stainless steel probe is inserted alongside the product bag inside the box. Chilled water is circulated through the probe, transferring cooling to the bag and helping maintain the temperature of the drink during service.

Fitted with 3/8" John Guest elbow push-fit connections for straightforward connection to compatible chilled water pipework.

Bag-in-box drinks can become warm during festivals and outdoor events, particularly when they are being served for extended periods.

This stainless steel cooling probe provides a simple way of introducing cooling directly inside the box without circulating the drink itself through a separate cooler.

The probe sits in contact with the bag while chilled water circulates through the stainless steel tube.

How the Bag in Box Cooling Probe Works

The stainless steel probe is positioned inside the box alongside the sealed product bag.

Chilled water is then circulated through the probe using a compatible cooler or chilled water circulation system.

The cold stainless steel surface transfers cooling to the surrounding bag, helping to keep the drink inside at a suitable serving temperature.

The drink does not flow through the cooling probe. The probe is for chilled water circulation only.

3/8" Push-Fit Connections

The probe is fitted with 3/8" John Guest elbow connections, allowing compatible 3/8" OD pipe to be connected to the chilled water flow and return.

A suitable cooling and circulation system is required to pump chilled water through the probe.

Important

This product is a cooling probe only. It does not contain its own refrigeration system or circulation pump.

Cooling performance will depend on the temperature and flow rate of the circulating water, ambient conditions and the temperature of the bag-in-box product.
