The Grundy G Type Cleaning Socket is a wall mounted beer line cleaning fitting designed specifically for use with compatible G-Type / Grundy keg couplers.

Installed as part of a professional beer line cleaning system, the socket allows the G-Type keg coupler to be disconnected from the keg and connected directly to the cleaning circuit. Cleaning solution can then be passed through the product line and associated draught dispense equipment.

Featuring 3/8" push-fit side connections, a 30% glass-reinforced nylon body and three-point wall mounting, this cleaning socket is designed for regular use in pubs, bars, breweries and professional cellar installations.

G Type Beer Line Cleaning Socket

The cleaning socket provides the correct connection for compatible G-Type keg couplers, commonly also referred to as Grundy couplers.

During beer line cleaning, the existing keg coupler can remain connected to the product pipework and simply be transferred from the keg to the cleaning socket.

This provides a permanent and accessible cleaning connection within the cellar.

3/8" Push-Fit Side Connections

The cleaning socket features 3/8" push-fit side connections, allowing it to be incorporated into compatible beer line cleaning pipework.

Standard 3/8" drinks dispense tubing can be connected directly to suitable push-fit connections, making the socket straightforward to integrate into new or existing cleaning installations.

Glass-Reinforced Nylon Construction

The socket body is manufactured from 30% glass-reinforced nylon, providing a strong and durable construction for professional cellar environments.

The material provides resistance to compatible beer line cleaning chemicals when the cleaning products are correctly diluted and used according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Wall Mounted Design

Three mounting holes allow the G-Type cleaning socket to be securely installed onto a suitable wall, cleaning board or other fixed surface.

The three-point mounting arrangement provides a stable fixing and can help accommodate mounting surfaces that are not completely even.

Sealing Component

The cleaning socket incorporates a thermoplastic elastomer seal with an antimicrobial additive within the material.

The seal forms part of the connection between the G-Type keg coupler and cleaning socket.

The antimicrobial additive does not replace normal cleaning procedures. The socket and associated dispense equipment must still be cleaned and maintained correctly.

How to Use

During routine beer line cleaning:

1. Disconnect the G-Type keg coupler from the keg.
2. Connect the coupler to the Grundy G Type Cleaning Socket.
3. Operate the beer line cleaning system according to the normal procedure.
4. Pass correctly diluted cleaning solution through the product line.
5. Follow the manufacturer's recommended contact time.
6. Thoroughly rinse the complete system with clean water before reconnecting the keg.
