Cask Ale Hop Filters – Stainless Steel Mesh, 10 Pack

These Cask Ale Hop Filters help stop hop particles and other debris from entering the beer line during dispense. Also known as Top Hat or Fly Eye filters, they fit inside compatible cask tap and ale extractor connections.

Each filter features a 316 stainless steel mesh dome with a rubber edge that helps form a seal at the hose-tail connection.

Supplied as a pack of 10 filters in your selected size.

• L/Y Thread – Standard
• 3/4" BSP

These sizes suit different connection types and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Stainless Steel Mesh Filtration

The domed mesh sits over the end of the hose tail, helping catch particles before they reach the dispense line. The rubber edge helps seal the connection when correctly fitted, reducing the risk of air being drawn in at the joint.

The mesh filters debris; it does not act as an air shut-off valve.

Installation and Cleaning

Position the filter over the end of the hose tail inside the cask nut or burr, ensuring the rubber edge is seated correctly before securing the connection.

Clean the filter regularly as part of your cask dispense maintenance, and inspect the mesh and rubber edge for damage.
