The KeyKeg K Type Cleaning Socket is a wall mounted beer line cleaning fitting designed for use with compatible KeyKeg K-Type keg couplers.

Installed as part of a professional beer line cleaning system, the socket allows the KeyKeg coupler to be disconnected from the keg and connected directly to the cleaning circuit. Cleaning solution can then be passed through the product line and associated draught dispense equipment.

Featuring 3/8" push-fit side connections, glass-reinforced nylon components and three-point wall mounting, this cleaning socket is designed for regular use in pubs, bars, breweries, taprooms and professional cellar installations.

KeyKeg Cleaning Socket

This cleaning socket provides a dedicated cleaning connection for compatible KeyKeg / K-Type keg couplers.

During cleaning, the existing KeyKeg coupler can remain connected to the product pipework and simply be transferred from the keg to the wall mounted cleaning socket.

This provides a permanent and accessible cleaning point without needing to disconnect the beer pipe from the keg coupler.

3/8" Push-Fit Side Connections

The cleaning socket features 3/8" push-fit side connections for integration into compatible beer line cleaning pipework.

This allows standard 3/8" drinks dispense tubing to be connected as part of a permanent cleaning installation.

Glass-Reinforced Nylon Construction

The body, top, pinch-ring and poppet are manufactured from 30% glass-reinforced nylon, providing a strong and durable construction for regular professional use.

The material provides resistance to compatible beer line cleaning chemicals when they are correctly diluted and used according to the chemical manufacturer's instructions.

Wall Mounted Design

Three screw holes allow the KeyKeg cleaning socket to be securely installed onto a suitable wall, cleaning board or other fixed surface.

The three-point mounting arrangement provides a stable installation and keeps the cleaning connection accessible during routine cellar maintenance.

Antimicrobial Seal

The cleaning socket incorporates a thermoplastic elastomer seal with an antimicrobial additive incorporated into the material.

The antimicrobial component does not replace normal cleaning procedures. The cleaning socket and complete dispense system must still be cleaned and maintained correctly.

How to Use

During routine beer line cleaning:

1. Disconnect the compatible KeyKeg K-Type coupler from the keg.
2. Connect the coupler to the wall mounted KeyKeg cleaning socket.
3. Operate the beer line cleaning system according to the normal procedure.
4. Pass correctly diluted cleaning solution through the product line.
5. Follow the cleaning chemical manufacturer's recommended contact time.
6. Thoroughly rinse the complete system with clean water before reconnecting the keg.

Important Compatibility Information

It is not suitable for S-Type, D-Type, G-Type, A-Type, M-Type or U-Type/UEC keg couplers. Separate cleaning sockets are required for these connection types.
