How the Swan Neck Tap Works

The tap agitates beer as it is dispensed, helping to create a fuller head. Its threaded end accepts a suitable sparkler, which can reach the bottom of the glass. The beer passes through the sparkler’s small holes and is directed against the glass to increase agitation.

Swan Neck Tap or Southern Spout?

The shorter Southern Spout does not reach the bottom of the glass, so it agitates the beer less. It may suit those who prefer less head on their pint.
