The UEC U-Type Cleaning Socket is a wall mounted beer line cleaning fitting designed for use with compatible U-Type / UEC keg couplers.

Installed as part of a professional beer line cleaning system, the socket allows the U-Type keg coupler to be disconnected from the keg and connected directly to the cleaning circuit. Cleaning solution can then be passed through the beer line and associated draught dispense equipment.

Featuring 3/8" push-fit side connections, a 30% glass-reinforced nylon body and three-point wall mounting, this UEC cleaning socket is designed for regular use in pubs, bars, breweries and professional cellar installations.

U-Type / UEC Beer Line Cleaning Socket

U-Type keg couplers are also commonly referred to as UEC couplers or Stella couplers due to their association with Stella Artois and other draught brands.

This cleaning socket provides a dedicated connection for compatible U-Type keg couplers, allowing the existing coupler to remain connected to the beer line during cleaning.

The coupler is simply transferred from the keg to the wall mounted cleaning socket when the line is ready to be cleaned.

How to Use

During routine beer line cleaning:

1. Disconnect the compatible U-Type / UEC keg coupler from the keg.
2. Connect the keg coupler to the wall mounted cleaning socket.
3. Operate the beer line cleaning system according to the normal procedure.
4. Pass correctly diluted cleaning solution through the product line.
5. Follow the cleaning chemical manufacturer's recommended contact time.
6. Thoroughly rinse the system with clean water before reconnecting the keg.
