15mm Push-Fit U-Bend for Beer Python & Cooling Systems

The DMfit 15mm U-Bend is a push-fit connector designed to join two lengths of 15mm OD pipe while creating a compact 180-degree return. It is particularly suited to beer python cooling systems, where chilled water or glycol flow and return lines need to be connected.

Both ends feature 15mm push-fit connections, allowing compatible 15mm pipe to be connected without compression fittings, hose tails or clips.

The U-shaped design allows pipework to return in the opposite direction within a compact space.

In draught beer cooling installations, the fitting can be used to connect compatible 15mm python flow and return lines, allowing chilled water or glycol to circulate through the cooling circuit and return to the remote cooler.

Connecting Python Flow & Return Pipework

A beer python normally incorporates dedicated cooling lines alongside the product lines. The DMfit 15mm U-Bend can be used where compatible 15mm cooling pipes need to be joined to create the return section of the cooling circuit.

The fitting itself does not provide cooling; it simply connects the pipework. Cooling performance will depend on the remote cooler, recirculation pump, python construction, pipe length and overall system configuration.

Installation

Cut the 15mm OD pipe cleanly and square before pushing it fully into each push-fit connection.

The fitting can be removed when required by depressing the collet and withdrawing the pipe.

Always check that the fitting, pipe material, circulating fluid, operating pressure and temperature are suitable for the installation.
