Aston 1/2-Pint WJKT Clamp-On Cask Ale Handpull

The Aston 1/2-Pint WJKT Cask Ale Handpull is a clamp-on beer engine fitted with a 1/2-pint cylinder for dispensing cask-conditioned beer and real ale. Its G-clamp mounting allows it to be secured to a suitable bar or counter without requiring a permanent through-counter installation.

Developed by Harry Mason using its experience manufacturing handpulls since 1803, the Aston combines traditional beer engine operation with modern materials for regular trade use.

1/2-Pint WJKT Beer Engine

The larger 1/2-pint cylinder draws approximately half a pint through the dispense system with each complete pull, subject to correct installation, priming and adjustment.

The WJKT design is intended for use with a compatible cooling supply where required by the installation.

Clamp-On Installation

The integrated G-clamp provides a secure, removable mounting method. This makes the beer engine suitable for:

Pubs and real ale bars
Breweries and taprooms
Beer festivals
Mobile and temporary bars
Home bars with a suitable counter

Check that the counter is strong enough and that its thickness and available clearance are suitable for the clamp before installation.

Tested for Trade Use

The Aston Handpull has undergone testing designed to replicate prolonged use in licensed premises. It is built for regular operation in professional cask ale environments.
