Double Flexible Ale Extractor for Cask Ale

Serve real ale from one upright cask to two beer pumps with the Double Flexible Ale Extractor. Its twin outlet connects the same cask to multiple dispense points, making it a practical choice for pubs, taprooms and event bars serving cask-conditioned beer.

The flexible silicone tube and Masons float draw beer from just below the surface as the level falls. This helps reduce sediment entering the beer line and supports a clearer pint.

How the Floating Ale Extractor Works

The extractor is lowered into the cask through the fitted body. Inside, the float supports the tube inlet just beneath the surface of the beer, following the level down during dispense.

Drawing beer from near the surface helps avoid picking up sediment settled at the bottom of the cask. The upright arrangement also removes the need to tilt the cask during service.

What’s Included?

Each Double Flexible Ale Extractor kit contains:

• 1 × flexible ale extractor body with blanking plug
• 1 × complete double outlet assembly
• 1 × silicone tube in the selected cask size
• 1 × Masons float
• 1 × single hop filter
• 1 × 1/2" tail
• 1 × nut

One extractor body is supplied as standard. An extra body is available as an option.

Choose the Correct Thread and Cask Size

Select the configuration that matches your existing dispense fittings and cask:

• Thread options: 3/4" BSP, L Thread or Y Thread
• Cask sizes: Pin, Firkin or Kilderkin
• Extra body: Choose with or without an additional extractor body

Tube length is important to the float’s operation, so select the correct size for your cask. The outlet thread should match the fittings used in your dispense setup.

Optional Extra Body for Easier Cask Changes

An additional extractor body, sometimes called a collar or broach, allows you to tap and prepare the next cask in advance.

When the first cask is empty, transfer the extractor into the prepared cask. This helps reduce the time spent changing casks during service.

Installation and Care

Ensure the required washers and hop filter are correctly fitted for efficient operation. Clean the extractor as part of your regular cask dispense cleaning routine.
