Double Rigid Ale Extractor for Upright Cask Dispense

Supply two beer pumps from one upright cask with the Double Rigid Ale Extractor. Its twin outlets allow you to serve the same cask ale through two compatible beer engines or handpulls, while the vertical arrangement helps make better use of cellar space.

The 28-inch stainless steel extraction tube features a filtered inlet and works with the included mesh hop filters to help reduce hop particles and residue entering the beer lines.

Two Stages of Filtration

Filtered inlet: The bottom of the rigid extractor tube has 24 holes, each measuring 2 mm. These openings help restrict larger hop particles and residue from entering the tube.

Mesh hop filters: The second stage uses dome-shaped filters made from 316 stainless steel mesh. Each filter sits on the hose tail, with its rubber edge forming an airtight seal between the tail and outlet when correctly fitted.

This arrangement provides further filtration before the beer enters the dispense lines.

Serve One Cask Through Two Handpulls

The double outlet provides two connections to the same cask, making it useful for bars serving a popular real ale from more than one dispense point.

Upright cask positioning also provides a practical option where space for conventional horizontal cask racking is limited.

Choose the Correct Thread

Select 3/4" BSP, L Thread or Y Thread to match your existing dispense fittings.

Check the required outlet connections and confirm that the 28-inch tube length is suitable for your intended cask before ordering.

Add a Spare Ale Extractor Body

An additional extractor body allows you to tap and prepare your next cask before the current one is empty.

At changeover, transfer the extractor into the prepared cask to help reduce delays during service. A spare body is a useful addition for cellars handling regular cask changes.

Installation and Care

Ensure the hop filters and seals are correctly seated to maintain airtight connections. Clean the extraction tube, inlet holes and mesh filters as part of your regular cask dispense cleaning routine.
